Custom Charm Bracelets
Its been a while since my last post. I wanted you guys to checkout amazing possiblities for making your own custom charm bracelet. There are a number of cool places you can find charm bracelets & charms on the internet. Ok so here does
1) Ebay Ebay is full of deals. You can give a charm of virtually anything on ebay. So if you looking for something thats not a letter, heart, gingerbread man or something traditional this is the place to look. The only thing i would say is buyer beware most things on ebay that claim to be designer are not. If something is too good to be true its most likely the case thats its fake. Dont count on packaging to tell if its real or not. If a charm can be copied so can the bag !
2) Etsy.com is chock-a-block with smoking deals from so many talented artists. I would start on this place but you would never be able to stop me. Just have a look around i promise you it will be hard to click the close button on your browser. Prices are fair and you are guaranteed to get something that your friends don’t have. Its perfect for the quirky indie look thats all the range at the moment.
2) The big brands. Ok you know who we are taking about here Links of London, Pandora, Thomas Sabo. They have wonderful designs though with this comes a higher price than you are going to find on etsy and ebay. Some people prefer keeping charms only from one brand on there bracelet which is cool but it does limit you a little. Links of London have around 250 charms where ebay has 1000’s of different designs.
Hold the phone. I found a magpie charm ! Ok so on closer inspection its just a black charm bead with the name ‘Magpie’ but we are getting a little closer none the less. The bead itself will fit on Pandora or troll bead style bead charm bracelets. Its sterling silver and prices in at a reasonable £12. It may not be a magpie but its a sweet charm.
The add a pearl trend is a piece of jewelry that starts out without any pearls at all. You then select the type of pearl and the amount of pearls you want for the piece. You can even add pearls to the piece at a later date. That makes the piece of jewelry capable of change as you own it. I like the Starter Necklace with Heart Charm. It is a dainty piece of pearl jewelry that you can personalize with pearls and a message.
These charms are in the shape of a baby shoe, you know like the classic Buster Brown learning to walk shoe. Anyway, these shoes have a bow in white gold with a diamond in the center. Hanging off the bow is a red ladybug, a signature for Aaron Basha. The 18k gold is covered with white and then blue with black polka dots to make it have that saddle shoe appearance. They also come in a variety of mix and match shades and white or yellow gold. What they do not come with is a chain. High end jewelry these days put out stand alone charms so that you can put them with others or select your own style chain.
